Privacy Policy
What Shax stores, and where
Everything you enter or earn stays in the app's private storage on your device:
- An optional local profile — a name, and optionally a photo, email, and phone number — used only to label your player panel.
- Your game progress — level, coins, streak, stats, achievements, and cosmetics.
This information is excluded from Android cloud backup and device-to-device transfer, and is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear its storage. It never leaves your device.
Network use
Shax is offline-first. The only feature that can use the network is an optional global leaderboard, and it is off unless you explicitly choose to join it.
If you join the leaderboard, and only then, the app sends over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection: a nickname you choose, your level and XP, an anonymous random install identifier, and a random write secret that proves the row is yours. It never sends your email, phone number, photo, or real profile name, and it does not use any hardware or advertising identifier. You can ask us to delete your leaderboard entry at any time.
Children
Shax contains no ads, no purchases, and collects no data, which makes it suitable for a general audience. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them (there is nothing to collect).

If this policy changes, we will update the date above and post the new version at this address.
